Nick's Favorite Spots

Lava Flow at Duck Creek
This Spot is wonderful for seeing the fall color and Aspen trees with deep black lava backgrounds. Duck Creek Village is a very fun stop located along Highway 14. Doing a loop from Zion and back is a great way to spend 6 hours. The Road Trip includes Pre-Trip Lunch and Post-Trip Dinner Spots

Gooseberry Mesa
This Spot Sits along the Cliffside Atop Gooseberry Mesa, A Large Mesa adjacent to Zion National Park. It takes roughly 30 Minutes to get to this spot. This is a BLM primitive campsite AND CAN BE TAKEN. IF IT'S TAKEN, THERE ARE OTHERS ALONG THE EDGE. This is by far the best spot for Sunsets and camping in ZIon.

Quail Creek Lake
Qauil creek is a great place to cool off. No one ever knows we have lakes! This is a state park and has a fee unless you have the Utah state park pass. They offer great rentals and beautiful beaches. This spot is great when it's hot outside!

This Spot Sits at the top of Dalton Wash Road, DRIVE SLOWLY. It takes roughly 20-30 Minutes to get to this spot. This is a BLM primitive campsite AND CAN BE TAKEN. IF IT'S TAKEN, THERE ARE OTHERS in the area. This is a great place for sunset
